The 2022 edition of the National Landscape Award received 22 applications, 17 from municipal councils, 2 from associations of municipalities, 2 from non-governmental associations and one from the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The assessment was carried out by a jury composed of 14 entities, including the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores, and chaired by a national expert of recognized merit in the field of landscape. The 22 applications were accepted.
