The 2018 edition of the National Landscape Award registered 27 applications, of which 70% were from municipal initiatives. Its assessment was made by a jury composed of 14 entities, including the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and Azores and chaired by a national expert of recognized merit in the field of landscape. Only 22 applications were accepted whose designation and presentation are disclosed:
